The Quakers played several exhibition games in Canada using the gate receipts to help defray travel expenses. The club continued its exhibition series with games in Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary and Italy. Saskatoon played 51 games, winning 43, losing five, and tying three. In 35 games overseas, the opposition scored only 21 goals.
The Quakers won the world amateur title defeating the United States 2-1 in Milan, Italy. In addition to the championship trophy, the Quakers were presented with a trophy from the Italian government.
While in Munich, Germany, the Quakers placed a wreath on the tomb of the “Unknown Soldier” which was greatly appreciated by German officials.
