Youth Sports

KidSport helps children in Saskatoon whose family is in a financial crunch, giving youth age 6 to 18 the chance to play community sport programs.

Through KidSport, children learn about teamwork, dedication and responsibility in sport. KidSport said no kid should be left on the sidelines. All should be given the opportunity to experience the benefits of organized sports.

Since its start in 1995, KidSport Saskatoon has helped more than 25,000 youth play a sport of their choice. In 2012, $240,000 was given in individual KidSport grants in Saskatoon. Another $45,000 went to community projects.
