Chris BaraniukBorn in Manitoba, moved to Saskatoon to be a U of S Husky, where he was a multiple medalist and CIAU all Canadian 3 times with the Huskies.

Chris has his Level 4 NCCP and is a Chartered Professional Coach. He has been a coach for 26 years, 24 with the Saskatoon Marian Club, the oldest gymnastics club in Saskatchewan. From 2005 to 2008 Chris joined the Cirque du Soleil, a touring entertainment company, travelling around the world doing the show Quidam. He has been the head coach for 13 years and adding the Executive Director role in 2008.

Chris has been an employee of Gymnastics Saskatchewan as the Women's Technical Director. He served on a national committee with Gymnastics Canada for more than 15 years. He has coached carded athletes, had 5 national team members, 43 medallists at Canadian Championships, 13 all around Western Canadian Champions and almost 70 Provincial All around champions.

Chris has been given many awards, such as Gymnastics Canada Women's National Stream Coach of the Year, Gymnastics Canada Women's Program Service Award, Gymnastics Saskatchewan Woman's Program Coach of the Year, and is a life member of Gymnastics Saskatchewan.
