Bob Fawcett is game ready. He is an organizer, a provider, a deliverer.
Bob served as president of Saskatoon Minor Hockey. He was a coach in minor soccer and minor hockey. He developed a track and field program for inner-city youth.
He is the chair of the Kinsmen Inner City Hockey League. He has served on the board of the annual Knights of Columbus Indoor Games. Bob was chair of the Canadian University and the Canadian Junior Track & Field Championships.
In Western Canada, Fawcett is a scout for the WHL's Kelowna Rockets and a business advisor with the Saskatoon Blades.
The Memorial Cup, 2 World Junior Hockey Championships and the Can-Am Police / Firefighter Games have all been held in Saskatoon. Credit Fawcett with the assist.
As an athlete, Fawcett was a football player and a middle-distance and cross-country runner at City Park Collegiate. He played junior baseball for the Saskatoon T-Birds and played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League for the Macs and the Olympics.
