CANADIAN JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONS
The 1958 Hilltops
beat the Regina Rams in a two-game series, 50-19 and 34-20, to win the
Manitoba Saskatchewan Junior Title. In the western final, the Hilltops
shut out the Edmonton Wildcats 26-0. In the Canadian Final held in
Montreal, the Hilltops edged Montreal Notre Dame de Grace Maple Leafs
18-14.
The Tops scored
11 straight wins in an unbeaten season. This club has been inducted
into the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.
